Arogya is a humble initiative of Jai Odisha to promote "Health and Wellness for All". We believe that each and every one of us has the right to be healthy and that will a little assistance, even the under privileged sections of our society can be healthy and lead a better life. Only a healthy person can lend his hand for nation building.
A lot of times, when a road accident occurs, timely first aid is not available, which leads to medical complications. A stitch in time, saves nine. Jai Odisha has installed first aid kits on all the traffic junctions of Bhubaneswar and some traffic junctions of Cuttack and Puri, thus enabling the traffic police to provide immediate first aid to the needy.
We also conduct regular health check-ups in the slums of Bhubaneswar and connect people with medical facilities, if required. We have helped hundreds of people to identify their illnesses early on before it becomes complicated. Our volunteers engage with the people and also create awareness around health and wellness.
