A lot of statues of imminent personalities adorn the streets and corners of Bhubaneswar and Cuttack. They are a source of inspiration for all of us, especially the youth. But often it is observed that these statues are not cleaned regularly and do not get the respect that they deserve.
Through this initiative, the volunteers of Jai Odisha regularly clean the statues and adorn it with flowers. It takes a lot of manual effort to clean a statue, but when we see the end result, a clean statue of our hero standing tall, our hearts beam with pride. These heroes who led an exemplary life, have to be revered by everyone.
This initiative of showing respect through cleanliness is a unique effort which makes all the youngsters realize the value of cleanliness. Respecting the heroes and trying to imbibe their good qualities and following their footsteps for the betterment of society is what we expect all people to do.
